Can a team robot score out of the sector but in the other half of the playing field?
If you are asking about shooting from the sector in the far end of the field from the target, that is not allowed per the “no full court shots” rule.
I am not asking about the sector but I ask about out of the sector behind the white line
If a robot is outside of the sector, meaning on the side of the white line where the generator is then yes they can try to score
Sure?
I meant the other side of the playing field
It is allowed, it will just be hard to accomplish I’d read the rule on full court shots in the manual it has a graphic that should help
Some of the other questions you have asked indicate that it would be of great benefit to you and your team to pause and study the Game Manual thoroughly. It would also be good to think and discuss with your teammates the implications of various rules and the possible interactions between some of the rules.
It is good that you are asking about rules you are not certain about. While people on this forum will answer your questions, there may be instances where you do not realize that your understanding of a particular rule is insufficient so you will not ask about it.
That’s correct. While theoretically you could shoot from just past the sector line, practically you have the shield generator in the way and you’d have to arc your shots up over it or give them enough velocity to get a fairly flat trajectory under it. Both are pretty unlikely and would make it very difficult to actually hit the goal (even the large outer goal.) What this could be good for is feeding PCs to the other end of the field for your alliance partners so they can cycle faster. Pick up 5, move just beyond the line and fire them downfield on a relatively flat trajectory that gets them to roll/bounce into the other sector for pickup. Might be a good strategy for a defensive bot.
I predict that parking in the LOADING ZONE and shooting into the TRENCH is going to be a thing this year. With a fast pickup it more that halves the cycle time, and a good shooter should be able to hit the high goal from inside the TRENCH.
