so I was reading through the rule book and couldn’t find anything saying you can’t have more than one cone on a pole at a time but wanted to make sure since there are so many cones and cubes I don’t see why those wouldn’t count for points
I couldn’t tell you where exactly it is in the rulebook, but they made it very clear during the kickoff announcement that cones wouldn’t count double. Nodes are either filled, or not filled.
okay thanks for the clarification
The last sentence in 6.4.1:
Only 1 GAME PIECE is counted per NODE.
It’s in awkward spot so I missed it the first readthrough as well.
6.4.1 Grid Scoring
At the bottom of that section and at the top of page 46,
“Only 1 GAME PIECE is counted per NODE.”
you can have as many as you want, but over one is pointless
i suppose in light of recent changes… this is no longer true
You can now score 2 pieces per node, with the second piece worth 3 points, no matter what level it is placed. Double scoring only counts for points if all of the nodes are already filled.
