Hi to everyone! My name is Sam and I´m from WINT 3794.
My team is really new in the area of scouting (we just strated last season) and we have MANY DOUBTS on how to improve this area.
Does anyone has any tips for members to get interested? or a system we can use to recolect data? Any suggestion or tip is valid!

As far as data collection and culture issues go:
Picklists and having productive short meetings is a different kettle of fish
The system you use will depend on your scouters. If you don’t have many to scout then statbotics is a great resource to help. If you want to perform your scouting the easiest way to collect data is to paper scout but looking at all the data can be difficult due to it needing to be manually added to an Excel file or something to help analyze all of it. The next step up is to create a Google form to submit the data and that can be linked to a spreadsheet. After that, you can look into making an app to use on tablets or a phone, and lastly my personal favorite, controller scouting. I am biased towards it due to being a developer of it.
Choosing which system to use is based on how many people you have to scout, the knowledge they bring to the table, and the resources the team can provide to scouting.

I should also point out there are more qualitative methods of scouting and methods that are based on ranking rather than absolute value collection. These can be better suited for smaller teams or building up towards a more intense system gracefully with less trial and error.
