Hey guys! My team, 1700, has created a scouting system to collect data from matches to use when choosing defenses and selecting alliance partners. We’re attending the Oklahoma Regional this coming week. Since there’s a lot of data to collect, we’d love to work with other teams. If you’re coming to the regional and interested in working together, let me know!
Invictus will be attending the OKC Regional, and we’d love to help you with scouting. We have our own programs set up for analyzing data, however. How does your system work? I need to know to see if it could be compatible with what we’re using.
Team 2359 RoboLobos would be interested. We are on the same row in the pits as you, back by the practice field.
The Ninja Munkees would be interested as well. We’re planning on using the MorScout system to do our scouting, but are open to suggestions as we are still working out the kinks in it for OKC.
I have made a scouting program for the competition this year. Only problem is, I need 4-6 people to do it easily. So all those hours of work for nothing. Until I saw this post. I have made a backup excel sheet and would love to compare notes with all of you. I may bring a couple people with me.
Take pictures of teams and “Suggest Media” on TBA.
All the pictures will be synced to the TBA Android App.
Teams can post their pictures now to make things easier. http://www.thebluealliance.com/event/2016okok
Also, we should try to reserve an area in the arena for scouting teams only so we can easily see the match and compare what data we collected.
Team 5550 is planning on going around and taking pictures of all of the robots and posting them on The Blue Alliance.
We can meet up tomorrow to talk about collaborating on scouting and compare our systems, if desired. Does meeting at 9 am by my team’s pit, 1700, work? We can move somewhere else once we’ve met up.
Hello!
I’m from team 1515 and we created MorScout. You mentioned that you would like to collaborate with other teams for scouting at a regional, and MorScout makes this really easy!
MorScout allows teams to share their scouting data with other teams, and by doing so, all teams at a particular event can see scouting data made by other teams. This is done using MorScout’s centralized server at http://www.scout.morteam.com. You can also download MorScout on the Apple iOS and Google Play app stores. We hope you get a chance to use it!
Sure, that sounds good. See you at 9.
Anyone have a webcast link for the event ?
