For the twelfth time, teams 1293 and 2815 present SCRIW, the South Carolina Robotics Invitational and Workshops!
SCRIW is the Carolinas’ oldest off-season competition, bringing teams from the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and even Florida together for one more round of CHARGED UP presented by Haas and a great slate of workshops for teams to match. It’s the perfect place to bring your new team members or try that new upgrade out!
(And yes, the mentor match for a worthy cause will be back.)
SCRIW XII will be held October 21, 2023, at Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina.
New this year: We are planning for an entirely optional load-in and practice match opportunity for Friday night, October 20. More details will come in the weeks ahead.
We’ve worked hard to hold the line on pricing:
$400 if payment is postmarked by October 1
$500 if postmarked after October 1, or received at the event
$250 for B-teams, second robots fielded by the same organization. B-teams will be officially confirmed on August 1.
2024 rookie teams compete at no charge.

No guarantees but I just posted this to our Team Captain. 2 of the Ohio events are cancelled and the other coincides with a school event that several of our leadership kids (aka Drive and Pit Crew) aren’t able to miss.
I feel your pain! Scheduling is tough for every team, and while I’m glad you’re looking at us it’s also like “ugh, they have to look at us to find one that works?”.
