SDS MK4i bearing retention bolt with thread only half the way up

As the title states, we recently received our SDS MK4i modules and went to assemble them today to find that one of the bearing retention bolts only had thread part way up the bolt.

Just wondering if this has been a known issue or if we got unlucky?

I’d always recommend reaching out to suppliers directly about this kind of stuff.

This kind of issue is not specific to SDS MK4i. In the last 10+ years of robotics, I’ve seen out-of-spec threading (or no threading at all) on bolts from several vendors inside and outside of FRC. It’s a type of manufacturing defect that happens on occasion with bolts.
