Has anyone used the Colson wheel kits from SDS? If so, how are they? How do they compare to the kit from here? It seems like the ears on the SDS kits would be a potential failure point.

My team ran the sds colson wheel kits at KCMT last weekend, we were super happy with their performance. Our bot got a ton of airtime over the charge station and the bump, so im not worried at all about the wheels strength.

We are considering getting a set. Do they have to be changed like the treaded wheels do? I’m wondering how well they hold up over time.
We did a ton of driver practice and a whole competition without changing them, and I didn’t really notice any wear.
I’m curious to hear people’s opinions on this. We’re looking to re-use the Mk4i modules from a previous season. In the preseason, we’ll have our students re-build the modules, so I’m curious what parts folks would recommend replacing with the wear they went through for a season?
Look at the belts and gears. If they look worn down, replace them.
