9 AM - Noon**On-site at Rochester Institute of Technology - Room 3435 Golisano Hall
Also offered as a webinar.

Workshop Description: Finding and Developing Partnerships with Funders

Unlike workshops focused primarily on writing grant applications, this workshop (and webinar) will focus on first finding funders who support your organization’s mission and vision - and developing a partnership with them - even before applying for a grant. This workshop is customized to help science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs, such as FIRST Robotics and LEGO League teams locate grantmakers – but it will contain valuable tips for any organization to research and locate funders who support their mission and vision.

Below is a link to the registration for this workshop and webinar, which will be taught by Margit Brazda Poirier of Grants4Good on Saturday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Rochester Institute of Technology. A webinar of the workshop is being hosted by the Rochester Chapter of the Society for Technical Communications (STC) and open to anyone with an Internet connection.
