Sending controls from computer in hybrid mode

For our autonomous/hybrid mode we would like to send camera images to the computer and process them there because we could use higher resolution images since there will be more CPU power. Then send controls back to the robot based on what is processed. Is this possible? Not sure if autonomous disables all communication with the computer or just disables input devices such as joysticks.

while technically possible, you would be chewing up a significant portion of your bandwidth to the robot. I personally wouldn’t recommend it. The cRIO has tons of horsepower to handle the recognition of the retroteflective tape. (unless you had different plans for vision)
