To help with this years selection, I wonder if anyone may share statistics from last year… specifically how many spots for each event remained after first round and after second round. I remember seeing these reports, but didn’t keep them…

The best insights you can get from such data are to focus on weeks. But, there will be so many variables that you don’t see that it’ll be hard to draw valuable data from that.
Keep in mind, a wide set of teams using this data to inform decisions are likely to come to some pretty similar conclusions. In that case, the data doesn’t help reach your end goal as the demand shifts drastically.
I’m not saying DON’T do this. I’m just recommending caution from putting too much faith into a single data point.
