It’ll help to know from where you are traveling and by what means (car/van, bus, train, plane, etc.).

We’re traveling by plane from long island new york

Here in PNW we have a team that arranges a trailer and teams pledge to buy into the 53’ container if we qualify for worlds. Can you reach out to your district/region for tips on who might do that in your area? We also coordinate to bring things back from our District champs for the qualifying teams so that they can be crated and loaded on the truck if the team is a long drive away from the Seattle area. PM me if you want more details but we’re farther from you than Houston is

You can bring batteries as carry on we brought some batteries back from Houston.

You what now?!?

Sealed lead acid have some allowable cases, but FRC batteries are well over the standard threshold of 100wh

It is possible to ship a tool crate to Champs. I cannot find any specific information for this year. I suggest you contact First and ask them. [email protected]. You cannot ship directly to the event. You have to use First’s drayage (freight handler) or find someone else (local team) that can accept your shipment.Other than that you are sort of on your own. In the past, to share expenses, we have arranged a truck with other PCH teams to take our pit.
