We were just informed the other day by first that a spot opened up for nationals (we were on the waitlist) and that we were allowed to go. We decided that we will be going however we are pretty sure we will not be attending the state tournament even if we make it due to cost having chosen to go to nationals. (We are a michigan team) Our last event is in two weeks at Lansing. DOes anybody know if we have to ship from lansing or can we bring the bot home (bagged of course) and put it in our crate from home?

I’m not positive, but I would guess that since none of the venues were setting up for shipping (to or from) that you will be required to take your robot home and then crate it up to ship. You should probably contact someone from FiM to make sure.
I talked to Bill Miller at Lansing this weekend, and after talking with him and the FIRST in Michigan folks they decided that we do not need to ship from our school this Tuesday we can hold until next week when the state championship teams are released. Next Tuesday will be the ship deadline to the championship for us and any teams going to the championship but are in question about the state championship.
