we have those here?
Gotta love summer CD.
On a serious noteā¦ no. Some teams have access to CNC machines and others donāt. Should we ban CNC machines? No. Part of FIRST is learning to live with and work within the inherent inequalities that exist in the real world. Some teams have access to better manufacturing capabilities. Does that mean teams with less resources should try to make the same robot? Or should they design a robot they can build well.

And sometimesā¦ they just jump into the boat. YHBT; HAND. And welcome to Summer CD.
The thread started south of the equator and kept going, by the way.
(For those that want a more direct response: This thread is pretty obviously an intentional troll thread, or has very rapidly become one. I really hope we donāt get too many of these, thereās only so much needling I can dish out!)
I think this picture illustrates(see what I did there) why riveting is more important than you may think in art. Art is any medium in which you express creativity meaning that virtually all skills are a part of art. I take offense to this statement on behalf of all the art riveting majors I know who have poured countless hours into learning how to rivet in a multitude of different ways to express themselves.
I would like to bring up the fact that not all teams have access to the physical strength to actuate hand rivet guns, now you may think this is a clear win for keeping pneumatic riveters but Infact it is the exact opposite. FRC should promote a healthy and active life style in all its participants, and building muscle by using hand rivet guns is a great way to give students much needed exercise.
By using pneumatic rivet guns, students not only miss out on an opportunity to strengthen themselves physically, but also miss out on the character building involved in failing to actuate a manual rivet gun on your own.
Friend, it started there
What really needs to happen in order to raise the floor, is, FIRST needs to do strength training. Then team members can raise their own floor
We know the OP
Alright, yāall. Enough is enough.
