Should we recycle this battery?

We are finally getting good at putting battery leads on new batteries and updating the ones that are either too old, or got destroyed in our week 1 comp this year (we had a non-proficient battery mount).

Anyway, I forgot to tell our member to keep the heat gun away from the battery and use it like an iron (never stay in one place too long).

Do we need to recycle this, or could we keep it. If we do, should we relegate it as a practice battery?

Practice battery. It is basically fine but I wouldn’t use it in competition because of the mild defirmation.

Thanks. That was my thought too, but I wanted to be certain.

You know, they make excellent riding lawnmower batteries too :stuck_out_tongue:

Jump starter packs too. Better and cheaper than those sketch ones that seem to have shown up everywhere. Just pick up a $20 adapter and they’ll stay charged for 3-4 years in a trunk.

Tbh, we’d definitely use that battery on 330, and some similar ones were in circulation for a while.
