Yes, it is very important to grease the gears on your modules. The exact grease you use is not very critical. When greasing the gears turn wheel by hand to evenly distribute the grease throughout the gears. Then be sure to wipe of the extra globs of gears so it doesn’t get flung. We (2910) grease our gears before every event, but we are putting many events worth of driving on our robots between events.
