I couldn’t find any photos of him (Nikola) with the robot, but he belongs to the mentor that let us work in his garage during the Seattle Snowpocalypse (thanks again Evan)! After a bit of iPhone photoshop, I have a picture of him with our Power Up robot.

Unfortunately, our shop is much too small for a full time shop dog. However, we did get a visit from Murphy here. He is a safety-conscious good boy.
Ha Ha, This just reminded me of this:
Remember Kids: “Fuel Doesn’t Matter”
(Disclaimer - not an actual shop dog)
Not a real dog, but when I was on Oz-Ram our battery cart was shaped like Toto. Me, being the smallest girl on the team trying to drag around a cart full of batteries while in my Dorothy dress was always a sight to behold. My little sister also would sometimes dress up as Toto at competitions, and I think we had a little stuffed dog once upon a time.
Love this thread - we have several who visit our shop regularly - including my 3 pitbulls:
Student: Ugh! The robot isn’t connecting!
Parrot: Have you tried plugging in the ethernet?
Best CD thread ever… Thanks!
Either Pasta is tiny or that lockup form is posterboard sized!

I call this, “Man Saturday Build Days Are LONG!!!”
Is your team even a team without a shop dog?
my mentor has a dog or two. But he doesnt bring them to school…
Sort of, to be even considered a team you need to have a shop pet, wether it’s a cat, dog, bird, snake, freshman, doesn’t matter.
Do 7 school chickens that are fed mainly by robotics during build count?
If so, here are a few of them:
Yesssss!!! Shop Chickens def count
