SIde Project

Hey

I am doing a small side project for my school and i hit a snag i need to know how to connect the globe motor directly to a battery or a wall socker (preferably the wall) instead of using victors thank you

DO NOT connect the globe motor to a wall socket.

You can connect the motor directly to a 12 V battery. We always made one connector (that mates to the battery connector in the kit) with leads on the other end for testing motors. This is really easy to do using parts from the kit.

while I am no electrical engineer, you could use a transformer, and a rectifyer to create a 12 power sourceā€¦if you where after varying speed, you could use something like a variac transformer. I have alot of experiace making theese type of power suplies, as I have used them for several projects. If you are interested in schematics, and a parts list, just pm me.
