With all these threads about collusion and the upcoming grand finale of the FIRST season, I would like to see the teams from the ARCHIMEDES DIVISION show their stuff and
JUST SAY NO TO COLLUSION!!!

I want this to die. I fear that this so called âalliance to not colludeâ is going to be more of a head ache than a solution.

These threads will die - after the Championship ends. From my standpoint, I would like it to end also. However, as long as there is a game to play with the rules that exist, the topic will exist.
All I would like to know is who is supportive of this in our division. Many people have spent time discussing this on other threads. I do not want to tread through that muck again.
All I want to know is, for Archimedes teams, do you agree.

Team 34, Rocket City Robotics will not participate in collusion. Weâve managed to win two regionals without it.
Team 201, The FEDS, will not participate in collusion in any way, shape or form.
ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOU DONâT WONT ANYONE TO HIT EACHOTHER. THAT IS KINDA DUMB SINCE IT IS PART OF THE GAME AND IF YOUR ROBOT IS BUILT GOOD ENOUGH THEN IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO STAND UP TO THE HITS THAT IT IS GOING TO TAKE.

You are referring to âCOLLISION.â That is not the subject of this thread. Collision is expected.

While I do not necessary agree with the definition as it relates to what we are discussing here, thatâs the topic.
Bottom line - we are asking teams if they plan to work with other teams to fix matches (however that can be interpreted).
Let the collisions occur; not the collusion!

Iâm not against teams going against collusion nor do I like collusion, but I think that if we do this type of agreement we wonât play the game, but we will try to run around and prosecute those who havenât signed.
I think its less about going around and prosecuting teams who do, but more like if you come around and ask us you know what we will say. The basic fact is it is a more exciting game when there is action, also the collusion artificially inflates scores and teams that maybe Shouldnât be high up in the standings are.

Team 226 strongly supports collision. (We have no paint left on the sides of our robot to prove it!)
We will not however support any form of collusion.

The collisions part was a mistake, someone miss read a post. This thread is ONLY for people that are against Collusion. Just making that clear.
Team 47 is in agreement.
Collusion is bad for the game and the spirit of FIRST.
Justr say No and play an honest game.
