Site Stats...

Has anyone ever been to the site stats and looked in the search function? Some funny/weird stuff has been searched for in CD.com.

Go look - it’s funny!

Lol… why is Dave Chapelle searched for so often???

[edit]w00t, post 1337[/edit]

chicawgo ???

I think we’ve got some dyslexic people here.

–our teams been searched for 2 times :ahh: …probably both mine…but hey…I can be proud.

Chapelle show and engineering sucks, very interesting searches. Funny find here!

I’ve been searched for 4 times. Hrrmm, I wonder who is looking for me?

Have you realized after reading the results there’s more searches for Ken Leung (14), Redhead Jokes (14), Erin Rapacki (11), Paul Copioli (9), than JVN (6). See John, your not the most popular one on here. Now when we’re done with the “I am JVN” joke we should change our profiles to say “I am Ken Leung” or “I am Redhead Jokes”!

Personally, I would guess that Cheryl Miller isn’t what people had in mind when they searched for Redhead Jokes.

So, apparently I have my own division in nationals going by the search, “elgin clock division”. Why was I not told about this? jeesh…

I thought about that but there weren’t any other jokes listed in there. My guess is that it’s Cheryl they were looking for. The only other redhead in there was “redhead scholorships”. Is this a scholorship that only redheads could apply for?

After reading most of the list I realized how much people misspell stuff. Just goes to show how someone could search for something, not find it, and post a multiple thread.
There are some weird ones in there. Next time I see Elgin I’m going to ask him what “elgin clock division” is. A “cordless drillpress” now there’s something unique. There were so many searches for the “Pepsi rover commercial” (and other spellings of it) that Brandon might want to give it it’s own section of the forum. :stuck_out_tongue:

[EDIT] Elgin beat me to posting the “elgin clock division”. So much for surpising him the next time I saw him. [EDIT]

I think it may be bordering hysterical that someone not only searched for ‘karthik kanagasabapathy’ but also spelled his name right…

…but apparently the word ‘chief’ stumps more people than we thought.

I find it interesting that for April, “the coolest thing in the world” was searched for more often than “making a robot.” (I wonder if they found what they were looking for?!) =)

LOL!

OK, not that I don’t trust you, but I HAD to see that one for myself. And yes I find that pretty hysterical.

I just call him “the guy with the sunglasses” and everyone knows who I’m talking about. Plus that’s easier to spell. =)

Am I reading this wrong…

It seems like this list is things people searched in OTHER search engines, which brought them to www.chiefdelphi.com.

Which makes waaaaay more sense than this being a list of things searched for on this site.

Brandon?

John

Except for that whole “engineering sucks” thing.

Ohhh.

Well, on one level that makes SO much more sense (for example, why would you search the CD forums FOR the CD forums?? I couldn’t quite figure that one out…haha duh.) but then…“chapelle show” is the second most common referrer? More people end up here after searching for that than do for “chief delphi forums”?

Huh?!

Am I totally missing something here?

“how to get a prom date” the best one

Correct. You search for ‘X’ on google, and end up at chiefdelphi.com, it will show up in this list.

So someone searched for “duct tape bondage” on google and got sent here?

hWhat?

Cory

naked egg drop ideas??

dirty dancing havannah nights??

sad smiley face??..(dosen’t that contradict itself)?

picture of a psycho penguin??

sniff caffeine pills??

sticky hands??

perment to own a weapon??

start a rumor??

d2 you dont even know the name of my band??

a good set basketball shot??

Some of my personal favorites…this site must be getting very wierd if this is what we’re known for.

Haha - this is great.

I wonder why people just don’t look at the portal and just realise that they aren’t going to find some of the weird stuff in CD.com…Hmmm…

Well, I decided to duplicate that search, and his white paper was the #1 result. I also found a result on RateMyProfessors.com that says that he is helpful and clear, but very hard and not very hot.
