Six Flags on Sunday?

Are any other teams planning on going to Six Flags on Sunday? Most of Team 1675 will be there, and anyone is welcome to join us. We’re actually saving money by spending the extra day and flying home on Monday…and since the kids are on Spring Break and schedules worked out for regionals, missing Monday isn’t a problem.

If teams are interested, go to www.sixflags.com and make your way to the Over Georgia page. If you have a group of more than 15, you can get tickets online (Super Saver) for $23.12, which is less than half the regular price.

Hope to see some of you there!

Kevin

At least some of 488 will be there. We’re flying home on Sunday on three different flights, so those of us on the latest flight will get to spend most of the day at the park.

I’m looking forward to giving Goliath a spin and, maybe if the stars align, finally riding a Deja Vu.

How far away from the General area of the Dome/GWCC/Centennial Olympic Park is it?

I think we usually dedicate Sunday to travel only… and because of that tend to wake up late anyways, but if we are traveling later in the day…and have time to do something that would be interesting.

Google is your friend.

Aww… but you’re my friend too Art, and saved me some link clicking time… lol Thanks. :stuck_out_tongue:
Looks a little too far out of the way for my tastes for a Mid-Afternoon flight time. lol
Maybe I’ll look for something closer to the Hotel to do on Sunday morning-ish.

Last year teams 1577 and 1657 went to six flags on Sunday.

Elgin - it took us around 30 minutes by train and then bus. I assume it would take around the same time by car.

If teams have plenty of time…they should really try to arrive early and leave as late as possible. Having a few hours without lines is amazing (after the 10th time in a row on Goliath, I had enough for the day).

The Braves are home and there maybe playoff hockey when we are there.

i wish i could go, being a rollercoaster enthusiast it really sucks not being able to go and being only 10 miles away!! but we’ll be driving the whole day back to michigan on sunday :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

The brazilian teams number #1382 and #1860 are going !!! it will be funny!! ^^ and some members from #1156 wil go too… with some guys from their FLL mentored team
