So, what are you thankful for?

We already know Brandon’s answer (motivation), but let’s just hear what the crowd here is thankful for.

(I’ll reply back in a few.)

I guess im thankful for everything i have, family, friends, and all the opportunities ive come along this year and in the past.

Have a wonderful thanksgiving all.

My sig has a lot to do with my answer…right now, only a select few know the details…

Can anyone figure it out?

Well besides FIRST obviously and being an American citizen. I am thankful for the blessings of the Lord, my wife, my job. I am thankful that I had just completed my 14 year journey towards a Bachelors degree last week and I am thankful for my health and happiness.

I’m just thankful for my life. Thankful that I was given the privilege to live on this earth (thanks to my parents xD), and also to just know who I know. Besides my friends and family, I’m thankful for finding this wonderful program and the top notch community within it. I couldn’t ask for any more than what I have and know right now.

Hoo boy, I’ve got the list for 'ya. Let’s see, making Billfred’s 2004 Thankful List:

  • My mom and dad, for obvious reasons. (Having children really is hereditary. If my folks didn’t, I probably wouldn’t, either!)
  • My brother, as having someone else to blame things on makes a world of difference. (Did I say that out loud?)
  • All of the resident nuts here at CD
  • All of the resident geniuses here at CD (although that may be repeating myself  )
  • The folks I’ve met thus far at USC (namely those at Preston and WUSC)
  • Being in this country (no matter what I think of it)
  • The Firebirds. I sincerely believe that that group of gals made it clear to a group of rookies that FIRST is more than the competition.
  • Answering that flyer about a year ago about some district robotics team.

I think that’s the list–I may add to it if I remember more.

I am thankful for good turkey, and better friends.

-Andy A.

Well, the usual (Family, friends, food - comon who doesn’t post that?)

But the most thing that I am most thankful for is a secon chance at life and creating something that I love after giving up something that I really loved also.

Confused? Good. You should be.

Happy Turkey Day too all out there on ChiefDelphi and out on the Internet!! WWWWEEEEE

Hmmm lots of things…

  1. I live in America right now, in a relatively stable climate
  2. My family and friends are safe and happy
  3. My cat. 'Nuff said.
  4. Everything about robotics. It changed everything around.
  5. Hugs…
  6. fooooood.
    And last but not least…
  7. Y’all!!!

Wow, big smiley 0_o…

Anyways, I am thankful for those people who realized that I have potential, and wanted me to express it in the form of robotics! If it weren’t for a few teachers and workers of my school, I wouldn’t be proud of my position of being a student in a suffering community.

I am also thankful that there are people out there who get to experience a full-rounded thanksgiving, and I am very thankful that there are the unfortunate who, thanks to caring citizens, get to have a hearty turkey dinner.

I am, just like everyone else on this message board, is very thankful for FIRST.

Lol, alot of these posts seem like everyone has done what they’ve wanted to do, but we’re still goin’ on, woot! Me, well, I am thankful for the usual things like family, health, some friends (not a lot but still pretty good friends :)) and…yeah, that stuff. I thank some of my music teachers, my computer teachers, and all the schools I’ve been to for helping me get to where I am, and especially my online friends and my dad for getting me a computer in the first place. I haven’t really been with you guys to much, but next thanksgiving, you’ll sure hear me thanking you all, and in a way, I already am. Thanks guys!

Im thankful for my friends and my enemies and the ones inbetween. Im grateful for my experiences in life. Im grateful for Arefin. If I didnt have him to make p*** me off, then i would hold a bunch of anger inside (and thats jsut not healthy). The best thing about him is that no matter what, we always seem to still be friends in the end. The world need more people like that.
Im greatful for my “father.” If he had not left my mother and i when i was a baby, i would probably have more heartaches than needed. I thank my ex-boyfriend, Renan for letting me see that a pretty face isnt anything. I thank the insightful teachers and elders ive met: Mr. Morris, Dr. Robert Nograd, Mr. Euler, Mrs. Meiller, Mrs. O’Day (to name a few). Theyve helped me find my paths, be them right or wrong.
