So when was the FTC:Raising the bar?

Wikipedia shows the date of 2005-2006, but that was also the year of Half Pipe Hustle. Can anyone describe the season as when it started and ended?

In notes with Karthik he said that the finals were at the 2005 Champs.

FIRST Frenzy: Raising the Bar was the FRC game that year.
Half Pipe Hustle was the FVC/FTC game that year.

Raising the bar was 04.

[quote] In 2005–06, FIRST piloted the FIRST Vex Challenge as a potential program. The pilot season brought together over 130 teams to compete in 6 regional tournaments[citation need in a 1/3 scale FIRST Frenzy: Raising the Bar. Fifty teams participated in the FVC tournament at the FIRST Championship in April, 2006.

But later on it says
2006–2007: Hangin’-A-Round
2005–2006: Half-Pipe Hustle

So I’m looking for some clarity in the dates for the pilot game.

So if Andrew is right, as he often is, the article should say the pilot was in 2003-2004.

FVC’s introduction was in 2005 at Worlds. It was a 1/3 scale of 2004’s FRC Game, which was FIRST Frenzy: Raising the bar. 2005-2006’s FVC Game (because it was the FIRST Vex Challenge then) was Half Pipe Hustle. They are three completely different things.

The Sharon Youth Robotics page has a lot of old info:

Thanks!, that’s what I was looking for. It looks like it was a fun game to play.
