We are using two Talon SRXs with magnetic encoders connected to an arm this year. I would like to apply a brake to keep the arm in a certain position when there are no other commands being sent to them.
The Talon has a configurable brake in the Web Config, but it doesn’t hold the arm in place when set. I have read through the software reference and motion profile manuals, but I don’t see any way to do this.
Is there LabVIEW code I could use with the encoders? Or did I miss something in the manuals?
