ever thought of going onto youtube and finding some good vids on this stuff on there? there are actually alot of good ones, even some by solidworks themselves.

Since this is primarily for your team, I would recommend you find what your team has problems doing and start there. As far as things that might help them: I have seen that making a detailed light bulb and making a detailed car do wonders to teach people tricks that might be useful.
My team Members are starting from scratch. I basically want to teach them solidworks this year because next yer is my last year on the team. We will be working sid by side for next season, so i need to get them designing.
ok, I would recommend you start with what is already designed and made as far as tutorials if you must do videos. I would also recomend you teach the WITH hotkeys, mouse gestures, exc.
also, at least with my team, It is faster and more efficient to teach them by doing it live.
Right-click the gray area of the SolidWorks Main menu to bring up the Sheet Metal toolbar. You have to use Sheet Metal features - not Solid features. Give me some ideas in your design direction. Marie
