Some help request from a Chinese team for FRC Haliç Regional

Hello Everyone!

This is Team 8214 - Cyber Unicorn from Guangzhou, China. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to compete in person at the Haliç Regional this year. However, we understand that traveling abroad can be quite challenging because we need to tear our robot apart for shipping, and we are hoping that we could request some assistance from the local team at lease we can assemble our robot before the competition and get some battery during the competition.

We would be incredibly grateful for any help that could provide us with as we prepare for the competition. Another Chinese team 7522 also have the same situation. Your kindness and support would mean the world to us, and we look forward to the chance to meet and collaborate with all the team in Haliç Regional soon.

I would recommend talking to @AlexBurchard from FRC Türkiye, he should be able to help you out.

All international teams competing in Türkiye received an email with additional information and a form to fill out. One of their sponsors will provide batteries for international teams.

As for travelling with your robot, what we did was we disassembled our subsystems and built custom crates out of aluminum (see attached pic) that we checked in at the airport. Once we arrived we reassembled it in our hotel room.
