Hey

We just wanted to give a thanks to all the teams who competed in the regional and national competitions for all the help they gave along the way (or that we know you would have given had we asked

To Team 175: You guys were one of the most supportive teams in both NJ and the Nationals… When we showed up at 8am Thursday morning in NJ without a control manual and a robot to rewire, you were more than helpful and willing to let us borrow your manual and every single other tool we asked for. At at nationals, your pit was right across the way and practically our home away from home… hope we didn’t over stay our welcome!! Thank you sooooo sooooo very much for all the support… We couldn’t have made it through without your support…

Team 419: Your spirit is to be admired… throughout the 6 weeks of construction we knew we could count on you to give us a hand and anything else we needed and you were just a call away… Donating balls and offering us use of a playing field was much appreciated… and helping get us in touch with Team 69 (thanks to you too) despite the fact that we never -quite- made it to the scrimmage… we look forward to staying in touch with your team and becoming better friends…

Team 125: Thanks so much for being so welcoming when we showed up the sunday night before shipping in your shop to borrow a ball… Many teams aren’t as welcoming to unexpected visitors… thanks so much, and for your support during the competition… we look forward to helping you out in every way during Rumble…

Team 126: You guys were overly supportive… maybe it was just cause, well, i used to be on the team- but i also know you guys and that you’re always willing to give a hand… you opened your strategy books to us and offered your technical skills and expertise when our robot wasn’t always working the best, and the team really appreciated it all… also, thank you for donating the van door motor for our last minute attempt and getting our tower functioning properly…

Thanks to everyone- this has been a great competition- we look forward to seeing everyone at the various summer competitions and at Kick-off 2001

Colleen was the person who helped me get tickets to Dean’s house at kick-off. I didn’t know we were supposed to get anything in the mail and so I never got my tickets.

Little did I know, it was the start of a brighter future between team 246 and team 419 Rambots.

Thanks Colleen.
