Song suggestions for Lunacy

There are plenty of songs out there that are moon themed. What are some songs you’d like to hear at Regionals/Championships?

I’ll go first:
Walking on the Moon - The Police

Spaceman by Babylon Zoo

I’m sure I can pull a few more space themed songs from my music collection when I get home but that’s just the first one that came to mind.

Oh, and Space Oddity by David Bowie as well. (You know, the one that says “This is Ground Control to Major Tom”?)

Definitely Fly Me The Moon by Sinatra.

Anything from The Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd.

Oh, and definitely for kicks, anything from the Wall-E soundtrack including Put On Your Sunday Clothes by Michael Crawford

Bark at the Moon - Ozzy Osbourne
Moonlight Sonata - Beethoven
Space Oddity - David Bowie
Rocket Man - Elton John
That’s Amore - Dean Martin

Brain Damage- Pink Floyd

(man that would be the perfect song)

Haha, all I could think of was the song Nasa Clappingit’s sorta space and moon related… and it’s funny!

Simon & Garfunkel—slip sliding away

I got another one: Supermassive Black Holeby Muse.
Just because of the space theme, & because it’s a pretty cool song.

Spaceman - The Killers
Starlight - Muse
Supernova Goes Pop - Powerman 5000
Under the Milky Way Tonight - The Church

…and yeah that’s all i can think of… for now.

Before the finals:

Stomp stomp clap
Stomp stomp clap

We will
We will
Moon Rock You!

everybody now.

Is that before or after the mandatory Moonwalk? :stuck_out_tongue:

SPACE JAMS!!!

I’m showing my age here, but I think that “They’re coming to take me away, Ha, Haaa” by Napoleon XIV will pretty much describe most of us on ship date. :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe that will be a goal for me. I have always wanted to knwo how to Moonwalk. Maybe I can get one of my kids to teach me.

Speaking of which. During a timeout, how cool would it be to see a Moonwalk race? Of course just like competition speed walking, strict enforcement of proper “from” would be necessary.:stuck_out_tongue:

Buckethead - Jump Man

The song is a bit “lun-y” and its about working hard!

Some more:
Joe Satriani - Is There Love in Space
Blue Oyster Cult - Moon Crazy (“A world gone crazy from the lunacy…”)
Liquid Tension Experiment - Paradigm Shift

For Buckeye Regional -

Moon Over Parma - used to be Drew Carey Show theme song way back when

Outta Space by Billy Preston

Michael Jackson - Billy Jean (first time he moonwalked)

Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler

More seriously:
There are a lot of space-themed Muse songs out there, I don’t think Space Dementia was mentioned.
And of course, Final Countdown - Europe

“Moonlight Drive” from Strange Days by the Doors.
