Hello, its been a while since I last posted, currently building the source (to the drawings on First Inspires) has anybody noticed any problems that may arise in the differenece between the material the note slides on onto the field or into a robot or is it really an issue, something me and a few other mentors questioned
Assume it’s an issue. There have been years in the past where it’s made a HUGE impact.
So what you do is you get a thin sheet of the correct material and screw it down on top.

Sounds good, weve got plenty of scrap polycarb
Double check polycarbonate vs other materials for the approximate correct interaction. the friction between (fresh) polycarbonate and the note is higher than I expected.
May be better off with leaving the protective film on the poly or using scrap regolith from 2009.
