Ummm I really don’t think that this is the best idea for a game here.
it not like we are making fun of Soviet Russia just adding on to what was said in a cartoon (i think family guy or maybe simpsons)
I think the poster is just pulling this from a common Slashdot game…
in russia they suprised the world with the first artifical satilite, then again with the first living creature in space. then again with the first man in space.
Just a little information… Not supporting it either way, but I had to do a report on this, so I know a little bit about it.
These jokes are called Russian Reversals. The original technique was introduced by “Minister of Propaganda” Yakov Smirnoff sometime in the '80s. There is quite a bit more information here:

Again… I just saw the thread title and said, ‘I know about that!’, and decided to post. I am not supporting or opposing the use of Russian Reversals on this board. Just giving some background information.

We were down in our cafeteria driving our 2005 chassis to test out a 6WD. One of my classmates came down and asked us what our opinion was on the fashion trend for guys of wearing their pants with their boxers showing (it was an article for the school newspaper). A teammate of mine used a Russian Reversal joke:
“In Soviet Russia, pants wear you!”
The interviewer quoted him on it.

This year for our Spring musical, we were forced into doing Disney’s High School Musical, and all the songs are annoying, and are really starting to get to a bunch of us on night crew. so one day when i was expressing my hatred of the musical my friend said
