Spare FRC Parts Available to Donate to a Team in Southern California (or trade for FTC parts)

I coached FRC teams for several years, during which I acquired many parts and tools. It’s unlikely that my school will be able to field another FRC team in the near future. I’d like to donate parts to a team that can make good use of them. I’m in the South region of Los Angeles Unified School District.

Our team has transitioned to FTC. If there are any teams that have FTC parts they’d like to donate to us in return for the FRC parts, that would be fantastic! We’re currently using the REV Robotics system, but we’d be open to adapting to parts from other manufacturers.

I don’t have a complete inventory, but I know that I have at least one full drive base, plus lots of pneumatics, motors, motor controllers, batteries, chargers, and other random things. I also have a Harbor Freight horizontal bandsaw that’s great for cutting aluminum tubing, angles, etc. If someone in Southern California shows interest, I can take a closer look at what we have and put together a list.

Hello. I’m from the Orange County Area (Cypress) and would be interested in knowing more as well. If you have any photos or other docs that would be great!

Now that I see that there is some interest in the Los Angeles area, I’ll gather parts together and post some photos over the next few days (probably early next week).

is there any update on this?

Here are some photos. I have more parts stashed in bins. I can update with more later. Again… we could really use some FTC stuf, especially REV Robotics or usable with our current REV stuff.

The 3D printers need some maintenance.
