SparkMax closed loop code

I’m looking at the example code for Closed Loop Velocity control for the NEO/SparkMAX in Java. In the code there is space to call out the various PID values. Are these values needed if I have already tuned the PID values in the REV client and “burned” them to the controller via USB?

As long as you are not calling CANSparkMax#restoreFactoryDefaults then the previously burned values are used.
