We have two sparkmax controllers, one set to follow the other. If you run closed loop control on the leader, is the output from that closed loop seen by and followed by the follower sparkmax?
Yes the follower will copy the output of the leader even if the leader is executing PID. You can also set the follower to be an inverted follower if necessary, useful in situations such as two motors working together ina gearbox, and one needs to rotate in the opposite direction.
