SparkMax extension PWM cable

Hi! Our team wants to control a NEO Brushless Motor with Spark Max through PWM.
However, the PWM wire included in the SparkMax controller motor kit (first image) is not long enough to reach the roboRIO.
Can we use this extension cable (second image) to connect to one end of the provided PWM cable and to the roboRIO?

Yes, that’s how to extend the reach.
Use the PWM cover included with the SparkMax to secure the connection.
