SparkMAX Motor controller client program not working

Hello,

We wired our new sparkmax controllers to a brushed Rev HD Hex motor… using the client program, I cannot get the motor to run. I have made sure that the controller is set to a brushed motor, as well as made sure the wiring is fine…

I also tried with other motor controllers and motors, but non of them let me run it, at one point, it did work, but now they dont. The firmware is updated to 5.2. The problem persists for both brushed and brushless motors.

Is the Spark Max connected to a roboRIO via CAN?
If a Spark Max connects to a roboRIO when powered up, the Client will not be able to control the Spark Max.
The roboRIO rules all.

Oh wow, I didnt know this… If I take it out of the loop, then it should work then right?
