Special Thank You

I had one of those jobs of inflating the tubes in addition to the other tasks of the field reset crew at FLR. What was worse was finding the tiny holes and patching them up. It was awful.

On Friday, as I was working (and in a bad mood from the work at hand), a team member from 1511 shouted from over the balcony and thanked me for the work I was doing. I thanked her back, but it really re-energized me. That thanks did more than I really thanked her for.

This is to you team member of 1511 that thanked me. You are awesome.

Very cool story!

I highly recommend taking the time out to thank your volunteers at your next event. They are taking time out of their lives to make inspiration happen, and some days just hearing someone say thank you makes it all worthwhile.

On top of that:

Thank the security guards. Yeah, it’s their job, but still. They are there putting up with hundreds of high school students, when they could be at home relaxing.

Nice!
And I see 1511 won Chairman’s at FLR.

Yup! Say thanks, you never know how it will impact someone’s day…http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showpost.php?p=590080&postcount=17
