Hihi!! It’s the Spires teams weekly blog, and we’ve come with new stuff to bring!! Well, with prototyping for a box grabber. You know, like a thing that grabs boxes! Anyways, pre-season is almost over, so now we gotta hurry up on these prototypes.
[TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3RD]
For Tuesday, we got a new member!! He is coding, along with Benjamin and Noah. Welcome Micheal!!
(Micheal and Coach Mike setting up his coding account)
Last blog, someone told to show the prototypes, so I will!! i finally got the pictures of them lmao
Everett’s!! His is uh… going!
Nathan’s prototype, it’s alright, but what the heck is that.
Mine and Leah’s prototype! Leah wasn’t here on Tuesday, so i had to improvise with Coach Scott, as we had to continue making it without the plan, cause Leah had the sketch and couldn’t send it to us via text🥲 but it’s all good!! planning to do more next tuesday. It’s hard to understand everything since the photos suck, but basically all we did to it was connect the 3 plastic boards together, then couldn’t go any farther since no plan. The black box is the box everyone is prototyping for!
Mattea and Janet’s prototype! In all honesty, their prototype is the best… and will probably win the competition for whose prototype we go along with.
Now for the rest of the photos I got!
Everett building and using the bandsaw. He could use a little more practice with it…
THEY GOT A TV. THEY SOMEHOW GOT A WHOLE TV AND STARTED USING IT. FOR WHAT? HOW?? WE HAD A TV??
Silly photos, Coach Scott and Nathan, Mattea, and more Nathan!
These guys were practicing coding and 3d modeling im pretty sure, and they were all focused! I’m glad one group of people were (i sure wasn’t after 7:20).
For Thursday, there was nothing. No robotics!! We had a snow day and therefore robotics shut down too
