Sponsored champs divisions?

It looks like some champs divisions are sponsored this year, far enough to even change the event codes. Has there been a year previously that had divisions sponsored?

Milstein presented by CIA
Milstein shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1984 with Niels Kaj Jerne and Georges J. F. Köhler for developing the hybridoma technique for the production of monoclonal antibodies.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but they’re not making it difficult to connect the red strings between these on the conspiracy board.

I could tell you why, but I’d have to kill you.

Definitely should have been Tesla presented by Ford Division

Plus they missed the obvious Johnson presented by Johnson & Johnson Division.

Sad.

Would Newton presented by Apple be too obvious?

Does the winner of Newton get a car?

I wish the word “Division” was located here instead of there.

They used “DCMP” for an event other than a DCMP (District Championship) event? How troll of them.

It gets worse the longer you look.

“ARchimedes Presented by Kettering universitY” → ARPKY

“Curie Presented by Rockwell Automation” → CPRA

“Milstein Presented by CIA” → MPCIA

“Newton Presented by Ford (CMP)” → NPFCMP
