We ran into a problem where we were placing gears on the lift peg fine to start week 0, but by the end the peg was consistently hitting the bottom of the gear in our robot, when before it was sliding into the lower triangle. We think it might have started drooping over the course of the competition, did anyone else experience this?
We have noted a tendency for the spring we test with (and its the official one) to droop a bit after it has been beaten up a bit. I think one can assume a varied environment in competition. Our team added a little servo “kicker” to help the gear stay on better.
