I was sent an encrypted message form my spy in Manchester, he is a cab driver for Holiday Inn. He saw a truck form Brunswick unloading cases of new bowling pins at the back door.

Now I know that the Holiday has no bowling alley, so they must be for the game.

Has anyone else heard from their inside sources.

Mike,

This story smells fishy to me (a Y2K prank?). Is this for real, or are you just trying to get our adrenaline flowing? I remember a crazy story like this last year on your website

Nope, I can’t help it… I’m guilty and proud of it.

I just don’t want to get too much bigger.

FIRST happens to be the basis of all of the fun in my life. (and i like it that way!) But I am so oriented on our Chairmans award entry, I have no time to be getting giddy about the game. BUT SERIOUSLY, i want some more opinions on the costume wearing idea!!

Hey maybe you are right. Those were not Bowling pins but stuffed fish pillows in the boxes.

Everything fits but the ‘clashing’. ‘Interaction’ was a big problem last year. Seems some teams just couldn’t handle the stress. Anyway, contact sports are expensive. Anybody agree?

Sorry, you don’t have my vote of confidence here. My expereince with FIRST in the past would have me to beleive that they wouldn’t be ready to move equipment to that location so early in the week. They usually prepare the Holiday Inn on Friday, Thursday at the earliest. FIRST has a whole warehouse to hold such deliveries, there would be no need to delivery them to the Inn. If any cases of bowling pins where delivered they would be going directly to FIRST. Try camping out at the parking lot across the street with you binoculars! Anyhow, I heard that FIRST had the kit of parts and such items prepared before this week. Hope you didn’t give that cabby a big tip! Keep cool!
