I am trying to help out a team on plans for St Louis. Where can I find a detailed schedule? I have found a few things but nothing that details out when robot inspection would.occur as an example.
The schedule for most of the event is known closer to the event, with some things being announced at the respective championship.
Robot inspection would also vary due to the layout of the pits and each division.
EDIT: Apparently everything is on the app. When will TBA get a Champs schedule emulator?
It’s on the app…and only the app

Nothing detailed, but Load in begins at 1:00 on Wed, pits close at 8:30 and qual matches start Thu morning at 8:30, so robot inspection must be occurring Wed afternoon.
Or inspectors are going to be really busy Thursday morning.
Meh, I linked to Houston, but St. Louis is the same.
Based upon the Guidebook (https://guidebook.com/guide/86975/schedule/#date/04-19-2017/track/258700) , on Wednesday, Load In starts at 1:00, and Pits Open at 4:00. Robot Inspection (weigh-in) starts when Pits Open.
Which App?
FIRSTCMP app
Are we allowed to open the bag and work on the robot during the load in? This wasn’t allowed at regionals, but since the field is open for calibration before the pits open, I assume so?
I believe they don’t do bag checks at Worlds. As soon as you get your crate, you can start.
Edit: Disregard this advice until things are actually confirmed. Your robot should be bagged while it’s crated though, that’s as much as I know.
Your robot should definitely still be in a lockup bag, and you definitely still need to get the lockup form looked at by an inspector before you just tear into it.
It’s really crummy these schedules are not posted to the FIRST championship website. We should make these links a sticky on the home page. Some teams (like ours) thought pits didn’t open until 4:30pm Wednesday the 19th in Houston, and made travel arrangements based on the schedule that was posted on the website. I guess we’ll be a little late
I noticed a couple days ago that FIRST finally put the schedules that were on the app on their website. You just need to scroll down past the FRC and game info which was a nice surprise.
Here’s a link to the PDF of the detailed [b]St. Louis Schedule.

Also a link to a PDF of the detailed [b]Houston Schedule.

I’ve found that the app was hard to figure out and navigate at first, so I transferred everything to my Google Calendar. Of course now I know how to work it after I went through that. It would be pretty helpful if it could sync match schedules for your team/teams you’re watching once they get closer to releasing that info.
They haven’t checked bags for the past few years. Teams were explicitly told they could open their bags right away. I think they have to enforce it every so often so teams don’t start assuming it won’t be enforced* and open the bag before the crate gets shipped.
*Like this. Nothing has been announced yet, so right now the expectation is bags will be checked like any other event per R20.
It should also be noted that the reason cited before was that inspectors had too many teams to check over, and therefore it would be easier to just let the teams through. With there being less teams at each championship this year, they may begin bag checks again.
Yeah, I jumped the gun a bit. I’ve edited my post to reflect this.
