How do your teams show off their team spirit in the stands? Or even team spirit in the pits? (as in like posters / banners / signs)

In a way that is not too loud, respectful of those around us, does not block views, and that is done at appropriate times without being too tiring or bothersome to the other teams.

Big cardboard numbers of your team numbers, cheerleader poms in your team’s colours, face paint, cool hats, coordinated team uniforms, or different uniforms (4450 for example has different subteams that wear different colours, but they fit the theme). In the pits, just decorate your pits and make them on-brand. Vocally, you can do cheers or chants that you make up, or even coordinate with other teams and make a big group for chants.

Team spirit is something that we have alot of fun with. We normally bring along pom poms, signs with our team number, and other red and yellow clothing. We also have chants for ourselves and other teams. Honestly chants are my favorite, they don’t require any materials except for a bit of creativity and a willingness to have a sore throat afterwards! Of course be sure you’re not too loud, intrusive, and always keep things kind and respectful.
