If you already drive off L2, you could just drive off of 3 onto 2, turn, and drive off of L2. Probably more risk of the high-center, though.

I like the Idea, going off level 3 would be great for getting 12 points. I think the reason they didn’t do it, it would cause the mechanisms designed to just go up and not down to redesigned so that it works both ways. which in the end could be dangerous as of robot capabilities. But I do like your idea, maybe they could come up with it next year

The hardwood floors in the gym aren’t that hard.
Yes totally do-able for several bots I can think of right off the top, ours would just reverse the climb process. I’d love to see the flip-bots do it, would be super cool although I assume some drivetrains might not survive the move.
It’d also be wicked watching 1114 jump off with their mechanism, but despite being built like a tank I think it might not do well with a ~4 foot drop done repeatedly.
