Staying on the Batter at the end of the match

How are teams planning on ensuring that their robots don’t roll backwards off the Batter after the end of the match when power is killed? There is a 3/4 inch cleat there, but not sure that is going to stop this year’s robots.

This assumes, of course, that you are not hanging

Setting your motor controllers to brake mode at the end ought to do it

That might help a little, but it will not hold the robot still. Brake mode depends on the motor generating a back EMF which they don’t do at zero speed.
