I have some word about match footage! FIRST Canada doesn’t enable VOD archives on their stream because they don’t want to worry about copyright strikes. We have downloaded the entire day’s recording from the streaming box onto a portable drive. We’llLimelight, an integrated vision coprocessor go through the (large) file to split the matches and upload them to YouTube, but it might take a few weeks. I’llLimelight, an integrated vision coprocessor post a link here when they’re ready.
There were obviously some fairly major techincal issues Saturday afternoon during playoffs, and so I’m guessing it will require someone at HQ manually updating the results of those playoff matches. Even if the match breakdown data was lost, it would be awesome to see the overall match scores updated to reflect the real final scores.
You’re right. The FMS crashed on us unfortunately, so we had to run the STEMley Cup playoffs as “Test Matches”. The FTA crew were able to upload the wins and losses to frc-events / The Blue Alliance, so at least that’s there.
I have an archive of the actual scores and grid states for each match (except not autos apparently). I would love to get them uploaded, but I fear that’s going to require a lot of manual labour from someone with the keys to TBA. If there’s someone reading this who’s interested and able to help, please DM me.
Small mistake (probably just due to the nature of manually inputting W/L), match 9 has alliance 5 as winning that match, when alliance 2 won the match and advanced to match 12 (and subsequently got knocked out there). As far as I can tell everything else appears to be correct though!
Field issues aside, STEMLey was a spectacular event to be a part of again this year, huge props to everyone involved!
We managed to get the STEMley Cup and Overtime Sunday match videos split recently. We submitted the playlist to The Blue Alliance, but they haven’t linked them yet. In the meantime, you can find the videos here:

Also a big thank you to our event photographers, who posted their photo galleries here:
The organizing committee would like to thank all of our volunteers and all the teams who attended our events. We hope you have a great competition season in 2024, and we look forward to seeing you all next year at the 2024 STEMley Cup Championship!
