Date: February 19th, 2011
Location: Suffield High School in Suffield, Connecticut
Cost: $100
Team Registration Email: Tina LaPointe at tlapointe3@yahoo.com
Instructions for Registration:
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to register; include your Team Name and Number, Contact person, Contact email and phone number. Payment information will be sent via a registration received email.
Additional information will be found here on our website, http://aceshigh176.org, as it becomes available. Official schedule will be released soon.
Looking forward to the event this year, its an excellent place to shake down the robot, see how the game is played, and get our drivers some “experience behind the glass”
Thanks to the Aces High mentors and students who have kept this event going for 10 years strong!
Our website has now been updated with all details for the event, including directions, scheduling, and the nomination form for our Dave Leenhouts Award (Our version of the WFA)
Schedule
8:00 am Pits open
9:00-11:30 am Practice rounds begin or when the FIRST field and enough teams are ready to begin. The number of practice rounds will be determined by the number of teams and their readiness.
9:30-11am - Workshop (TBD)
11:30 am Drivers meeting (room TBA)
11:30 am-12:30pm Lunch Please note an important note about food on the next page
As can be seen, the waitlist has been expanded quite a bit, and, as we have always reserved spots for rookies, a few more rookie teams have been added to the event.
Less than one week to go until Suffield Shakedown!
Please note, there WILL now be a NEMO at the scrimmage.
Also, for any teams who, for whatever reason, are registered to attend, but cannot now attend, please make sure to let us know so we can filter through the waitlist. We would hate to end up having open spots because a team couldn’t make it but didn’t alert us!
FYI - I have a handful of volunteer jobs still available for the CT Regional taking place Mar 31- Apr 02, for all ages 14 and up. Some are Thursday only so you can help us on Thursday and then cheer with your team on Fri & Sat.
If you have a spare mentor or student that wants to have a blast at the regional, get a LogoMotion tshirt, and the best volunteer food on the east coast, come find me! I’ll be somewhere near the field or hanging out in 40’s pit.
