Summer Technology Camp for Girls in the Baltimore-DC area

Hello, my name is Catherine Rossbach and I am an alumna of FRC team 2607, the Fighting Robovikings. Currently, I am a student at University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

This summer, UMBC will be hosting The Artemis Project. Artemis is a five week computer science and technology camp designed for girls who will be entering either ninth or tenth grade in the fall. The camp is run by four undergraduate women who are all majoring in STEM fields. We hope that this camp will introduce more young women to the sciences, and encourage them to pursue their interest in the sciences in high school and college.

We are currently looking for students for this year’s program, which runs June 24-July 26. If you or someone you know is interested in applying, please visit our website or email me at [email protected]

Thanks for your time!
