Though the season is done, there’s yet another one coming sooner than you’d think. FIRST is always trying to do more stuff, and as such we love supporting them! However, it’s important to note, your districts aren’t always part of FIRST.
FIRST in Texas, Mid-Atlantic Robotics, Virginia FIRST to name a few, are their own legal entities that handle stuff within their service area. They, seldom get donations, prompting the “begging letter” during events asking you to support them.
When buying stuff on Amazon, you can select a charitable organization to donate .5% of any sales to, including districts (and some teams.) Below is a collection of some URLs for Amazon Smile with FRC Districts (and geographic areas). Without these organizations, your district (or regional area that’s almost but not quite a district) simply wouldn’t be able to function.
