The San Jose/Silicon Valley regional were a complete blast. They were so much fun. I would like to thank Jason Morrella and his professional FIRST staff for all their hard work and determination in putting on such a great event. I have been to 5 nat’s and 7 regionals over the years and this was by far the most fun of all of them. Way to go!
Sean, I totally agree. This was my first robotics competition, so I’m a bit biased I had a huge blast and I am totally looking forward to Nationals. I appreciate the hard work of all the volunteers, and it was great to meet so many people I had communicated with on CD. Thank you all for making this such a great first experience for all of us rookies Jason, you did an awesome job!
jaSON! jaSON!!! w00t!!!
You and your staff did a wonderful job (as usual!!!). Can’t wait to see all my new friends again!!! pp2lfunC!!!
Jason and everybody…sv was a blast. I would like to thanks ALL of the volunteers there and also all of the teams… I enjoyed myself immencely and I hope that everybody else did too. ESPECIALLY a few people I can mention…Bill Gold, Andrew Wyatt, and Ken Leung…You guys were great and thanks for all your help!
Also I would like to say hi to all of my friends, both new and old that I saw at SV. It wouldnt have been half as fun without you guys there…and you ALL know who you are!
I’d also like to thank Jason Morrella for an incredible Regional. I had no idea how much hard work goes on behind the scenes at a competition like this. I’m very grateful to have helped out a little. It was also fun sumo-ing you at the team party. I want a rematch in LA :).
I know he doesn’t read CD, but I’d also like to congradulate Jim Beck of SJSU on his “Volunteer of the Year” award.
Sean: Great job at the Regional. I can’t believe you queued almost every single match… You need to take a break in LA and eat something :).
Also… Ken Leung, Ashlee Snodgrass, and Andrew Wyatt: I’m sorry I couldn’t help you out more in your scouting efforts. But I think that all three of you did a great job in spite of being under-staffed. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys, and working with you guys in LA. Have a nice 2-3 day break :).
Queing was so much fun. It would never have been possible to keep on schedule without the hard and tirless eforts of Ellie, Chad, and Nancy. Those people were a joy to work with and made it so much fun. Ellie got every team there on time.
sean really does deserve credit…he did a great job with the queing team. So did ellie and chad and the rest of them. I got to work with them all on thursday and they deserve a lot of credit.
Lori the volunteer coordinator did a great job as well making sure all us volunteers were cared for!
