Round Hex Spacers

Used to space components axially on both ½ inch and ⅜ inch hex shaft. The spacers vary in length and can be combined to achieve precise spacing down to 1/16 of an inch.

The spacers are designed to slip over a hex shaft easily; however, the bore is round. The round bore allows you to align the spacer on the shaft easily. No more spending hours trying to get the hex to align on the last 1/16 spacer on your drive train axles.

The spacers are made of Black Acetal.

The HTD Belts will be in stock by the 2020 FRC Season.

Timing Pulleys and Belts are a lighter, more efficient alternative to chain. When installed correctly, Timing Pulleys and Belts require no tensioning. The HTD tooth profile results in a high strength power transmission that is suited for the high demanding loads of FRC Robots.

The HTD Belts are made from neoprene rubber to resist the harsh environments of an FRC robot such as grease and other chemicals.

The HTD Belts have a fiberglass tensile cord for superior strength, longevity, and resistance to elongation.

The HTD Belts come in a variety of sizes and widths to fit even the strictest design requirements.

This is much appreciated. I spoke to a handful of teams who tried to use your very generous voucher from the Virtual KOP, but couldn’t because shipping wasn’t offered to Canada.

So out of curiosity, is swyft robotics now liable for the electronics and stuff inside of the Omio x8? The electronics, especially for 110v, are incredibly jank. For example, its impossible for the 110v of the omio to deliver 2.2kw to the spindle with the current setup of electronics inside of the machine. Will support be given by swyft or do customers contact omio?

I believe that the Omio is protected by a standard 10A or 20A fuse, so fortunately that should be easy enough to replace.
I don’t see a warranty listed on Swyft’s website either, but fortunately the internals of an Omio are semi-standard, so you can generally find replacements on eBay/Amazon for stuff like the VFDs and spindle.

Love the new hex spacers, $0.30 each is very attractive! We’ll have to see how well they fit over thunderhex. Might also look at the pneumatic fittings too given the discounts.

The Round hex spacers were designed and intended to be used on standard Hex shaft. The Spacer will fit over thunder Hex however the fit will be loose

FYI, the warranty is 10 days from shipment, not receipt.

Warranty Policy

Swyft Robotics warrants our products to be free of defects in manufacturing, material, and workmanship. This warranty policy does not include misuse of the product, including abuse, misuse, incorrect wiring, alterations, connector damage, or robot competition damage. Claims for errors or defects in Swyft Robotics products must be emailed to [email protected] within ten days of shipment. Failure to make this claim within this period will constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the goods and an admission that the goods fully comply with all the terms and conditions of the order.

Does the Omio come with a copy of Mach3? Is the spindle speed controlled from Mach3? The product specifications listed seem poorly translated. What is “wireless control”; does it come with a wireless pendant? It’s listed as water cooled, you might want to mention that somewhere that people will need to supply a bucket or reservoir on the requirements tab.

That’s… not a very strong warranty for something as complicated as a router. You should know that the Uniform Commercial Code in the US, and various provincial Consumer Protection Acts in Canada requires that sellers provide a “minimum implied warranty” (can be as much as 4 years) and do so without undue burden (such as an overly short claim window or huge shipping costs). I am not Swyft’s lawyer, but they should probably consult one:

The Omio comes with a shared license of Mach 3 that is owned by Omio that you can use. However if you would like to use your own license you can.

Yes the machine comes with a wireless controller for jogging the machine.

We are currently working on getting the user manually and more documentation uploaded on the Omio CNC product page

I’m not Swyft Robotics’ lawyer either. For sales, the UCC basically provides default warranties, but those can easily be (and frequently are) disclaimed or modified by a seller.

Some states have more stringent protections for consumer products, but I doubt that robot parts qualify.
