SysID Not Powering Falcon

I setup SysId 2023 to test a General Mechanism made up of 1 Falcon. We ran the first three tests successfully, but our connection to the robot began going in and out before running the fourth test, so we power cycled the robot.

We connected and redeployed the same SysId project to the robot. This time, the lights on the Falcon went solid, but the motor didn’t turn. The SysId client was still receiving data from the robot. Despite SysId not turning the motor, Phoenix Tuner was able to.

The Falcon is running the latest 2023 firmware, and the RoboRIO is running the 2023 kickoff image. Any ideas on how to fix? I’ll be in the lab with the robot tomorrow if you need anymore info.

Solved!

A CANCoder with a short between two data pins was causing the issue. Removing the CANCoder from the bus fixed our problem. I’m still unsure why the CANCoder issue affected specifically SysId and not Phoenix Tuner.
